Im not totally convinced by the 3 5 2 but IF we were to sign Alves and Barry it would be a shame not to try it, Feckin strong side anyway, and if Alonso cant get forward in that team/formation he never will.

Not fond of Messi myself, dont get me wrong the lads got it all but he would be so much better if he could pass the ball every now and then, like against utd everytime he got the ball he tryed to take on everyone in front of him when team mates were in good possitions. I'm sure he made some telling crosses against Mwanck Utd. Anyway, he's only 20, and if we had him at our club, then I'm sure Rafa would instill into him the importance of passing.

Bit harsh that, he'd probably cost 60 as well, Would settle for cheaper alternatives in Ronaldinho (not sure he would pass a medical) or Robinho to get the job done.

Its not harsh for 60mill you want a player who is consistantly absolutly f.ckin deadly not a player who will try and take on whatever the oppo put in front off him be it 2 3 4 players instead of passing the feckin ball. Whats the use of having a player who will glide past 2 or 3 players only to lose it against the 4th? For that money you would demand end product and lots of it and for me thats what is lacking.
A 60mill player yet his side thats not short of talent were always off the pace, he needs to learn how to be part of a team instead of thinking he is the team, everytime he got the ball agaist utd he tryed to do it all on his own and produced very little in the end and its in the big games you judge "big" players.
