Win this match...and we would have pretty much sewn up 3rd position (and so we can concerntrate on winning the FA cup).

I am sure rafa will pick the right team.....and we will nick it 0-1.

To be honest their are plenty players who I wonder how they made it.

I think Crouch should play. He done well against them last time. Its not going to be easy. I not sure if Owen is back but hopefully he wont make a difference.

My prediction

1-0 to Liverpool

I am looking for an easy away win. There is no doubt Fowler or Crouch will score against them. Look at their defenders. Bramble......Boumsong.........Bad,really bad.

Newcastle 1-3 Liverpool
Reds is the sacred colour before this world was born.

Everyone seems to think Newcastle's defence is sh.ite! We'll win but I think it will be by fewer goals than some are predicting.  Getting carried away after the Fulham game me thinks...

Newcastle may have a sh11ty defence...but they have a capable midfield with Salano, Parker and Emre....

Thus, it won't be a easy against them if we are gonna keep missing easy chances... I say start with fowler & cisse or fowler & garcia. Crouch & Morientes to come on after we have scored a goal.

i hope we dominate midfield today as that is newcastles strenght at the moment,

SG needs to play better than he did at fulham, but he will because he will rise to a big game like this

4-3 to  liverpool fowler last minute winner,  FOOOOWWWLLLLLEEEEERRRRRRRRR   we're the king of the castle

Anyone know if Sissoko is fit yet?
We could do with him badly this week ecspecailly against the bitters.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I wouldnt expect Sissoko back for agt least 2 or 3 weeks. I think Rafa is just playing it safe with him and not rushing him back. Hes a fit lad though and could figure this week. He recoverd over this injury so quick so he could return as quick also.

This game is far from the formality that it looked a month or so ago. Other than last week against Man U, Newcastle have been a much improved side.

We should still be too strong for them, but I can see a tight affair, and not the rout that some people are predicting. Would definitely be disappointed with anything less than a win though. Hopefully Rafa sticks with Fowler now - I can see him going on a run now.
