Holy Sh!t... I've never been to Anfield but looking at those pictures... Where the feck does everybody park?

De asda lad on queens drive  for me . It's a feckin nightmare ethan .

I believe you.  I hate parking at events here... But we have a billion parking spaces.  Anfield has less parking spaces then the high school I went too's upper lot.  The lower lot probably has 5 times as many..

I live in Yorkshire (70 mile away), I used to take the car, there is company's scattered all around the area that rent their yards out as parking for the footie. they're all around the area and there is bits of land that are used etc. Then there's the on street parking and once you've found a space, parked the car there is a little voice as you get out of your car...

There are many buildings too close to Anfiel. These buildings makes it impossible to expansion.

If i'm not mistaken alex , those houses are empty and LFC own them .

So extend the stand back, turn the pitch round and its happy days
The kop will become the main stand and vice versa

Serious question: if you turn the pitch is it still Anfield? 

Also the Kop would run down the side of the pitch?

You couldnt leave the kop on the side of the field, you'd have to knock it down and rebuild an improved version behind the goal. So by the end of it by definition you're building a new stadium on the same site.

This seems to be dragging on longer tha expected really so is there any further news on the stadium? You start to worry that they are struggling to find a solution here

try, a side street in kirkdale. doesn't cost you £6 and as long as you don't mind the little scally kids going.." can i mind ya car mate la" you should be ok.

i would say, demolish the main stand or anfield road end, and rebuild from within. maybe a new 2/3 tier stand.

Anfield road end you could purchase the buildings behind it for under £500,000 and expand the stand and build a new road around it, although their will be all sorts of planning permissions wrangels with liverpool city council.

Main stand we could purchase all of the houses up to 100m behind the main stand and rebuild the main stad with a 3 tier new stand holding twice as many people.

it can be done.
