A lot of people's livelihoods will be effected by this. People getting laid off and sub contractors who have done tens or hundreds of thousands of pounds of work wondering if they'll get paid. Not completely uncommon in the construction industry but very sad to see.
Sadly it'll be the small businesses and sole traders who will be left out of pocket. And some of them will undoubtedly be facing bankruptcy themselves while the company directors wash their hands of it all and start again with a new company and no debts.
