Here we go again.... some more rumours that the UAE government are looking at buying us again, I wonder if FSG's resolve will remain as adamant as always and NO means NO

if you step back and think though, what is the goal of every business? it is to make a profit. If the owners feel that they have a big enough profit vs the hassles of running the club, they'll take the money...

FSG unfortunately could be here for a very, very long time.

After having stabilised us as nothing more than a mid-table club we have enough young players for them to be raking in the profits over the next 5-10 years.

I think the only forseeable way they can be ousted is if we all revolt again. Just like we did against Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum.

The problem is that they have done such clever spin job (unlike the previous pair of clowns) on what they are doing for this club, large numbers of gullible supporters have become so entranced with how "fantastic" they are they will never wake up to the cold reality that is the following:

2010 - 2011:  6th place
2011 - 2012:  8th place
2012 - 2013:  7th place
2013 - 2014:  2nd place
2014 - 2015:  6th place
2015 - 2016:  8th place
Trophies won: 1 League Cup

Based on those pathetic results and us continuing to employ the same stupid youth obsession, it doesn't take a genius to work out that this trend will most likely continue.

Personally I would be over the moon if these ambition-less parasites sold up and got the f**k out of our club.

ambition-less parasites !!!!     If there was an ounce of truth in that idiotic comment why did they appoint JK on £7m a year and after nine months give him an improved long term contract?  Suggest you take a look at their bank balances and then possibly your own to establish the extent of their ambition !! Being a critic is the easiest job in the world. Talking shite is even easier !!  :help

Ahh the classic bank balance argument is back!

It's amazing how since the last 6 years have been so poor the argument has now been sneakily shifted to profit and loss statements.

It's football results we care about Dev, how many times do you need to be reminded we follow a football club and not a hedge fund you massive plonk

FSG will end up selling for a massive profit one day and none of that will go to either you or me.

But some bizzare reason you seem to be their massive cheerleader as they stuff their wallets full, while we continue to linger mid-table.

You are a strange, strange lad...........

I should have said PERSONAL bank balances !!

I am not a massive cheerleader you patronising git !!  I simply don't share your child like view of how a football club should be run. It may come as a shock to you but yes they are in business to make money. They have never once said that they are a registered charity.

Interesting how you simply ignored my question about Klopp !! Surely if they were the ambition-less parasites that you purport them to be they would have looked for a much cheaper alternative than Klopp. Yes they have made mistakes but do they warrant your constant petty attacks. Personally I don't think so and by the level of support you get on this forum there are not many people that agree with you.

The Chinese investment story I posted here months ago has now hit Sky News and will hit the papers in the morning

We are not interested in selling the club but are interested in selling them a stake

You can read the full story here
