There is a very small element of truth in what Hustler says....a very small element.

There are certain players in the team who are not up to what is needed, but they aren't dreadful either, but replacing and overhauling the side will take a long time and we'll have to soldier on and make the best of it.

For example Finnan is categorically not cut out for right midfield, and he himself would probably prefer to play at right back, but given the unexpected injury to Nunez Benitez has no other choice.

As for Cisse, time will tell, but he needs time and patience. If his attitude is good and he keeps his confidence, he'll come good.

In fairness, 3 goals so far this season is no disgrace.

This will probably be Hammans last season with us and to be honest we would all prefer to have better central defenders Kewell has his own thread going on at the moment and finnan is a defender

Apart from that do disagree with your thread

I dont think jumping down Hustlers throat is the answer as he can be right sometimes but am aware of previous issues but just dont like to see people ganging up

Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

There are some points there to be considered if Im being honest.

Im aware of his history and am not bothered if he posts or not but although I wouldnt show them the door I think we need in January a central defender and a striker

I do have faith in Baros and Cisse but wouldnt mind going for an experienced forward to take some pressure and help them out.

God knows in defence whos out there and available

i don't like the term "world class" because it's very hard to define. everyone has different interpretations of what it means. to me, "world class" means someone who would get into a world eleven in their chosen position.

don't get me wrong, hamann is still a top drawer player. infact i'd probably say he the best around at what he does, even better than makelele.
