Mario Balotelli

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby C-R » Sun Jan 17, 2016 10:31 am

National newspapers were reporting yesterday that West Ham are interested in taking Mario on a permanent deal, interestingly today local London paper is saying that a 10 million pound bid is being lined up

Even though we paid 16 for him i would snap that 10 million right up

I'd take £10m and run...

Yep take the money if there's any truth in that.  Balotelli sums up our transfer dealings, utter shambles

10 mil is a bargain for them, he would fit in their system like a glove.

James Pearce of the Echo is saying JK does not want Mario anywhere near the squad again, morning papers linking him with a move to China

A move to China would be the best for all concerned tbh, most of the fee could be recouped

If the Chinese are as reckless as some Americans from Boston who are clueless about the transfer market.

One can only hope that the far easy come in for Balo...
What a waste of money eh?
Could we imagine what JK would have brought in with the Balo and Big Ben money?
If it wasn't laughable I'd cry

Or preferably players he could develop into a Gerrard or an Alonso or possibly even a Suarez. Lets face it we have tried to buy expensive goals and so far failed miserably with the likes of Carroll, Benteke, and to a lesser extent Balotelli !!

Balotelli's stats for 2015/16 in Serie A with Milan look awful. Can't see any way whatsoever that they will want to buy him which is a real pity because he is no use or ornament to us. Even a miracle worker couldn't get this guy firing on all cylinders. Go on JK prove me wrong

In reality it is probably going to be another loan deal with us paying a large proportion of his wages. If not the only other alternative is to sell him for buttons  and as it is unlikely that he would be prepared to agree personal terms which would be significantly worse than he currently enjoys at Liverpool he will more than likely rundown his contract !!

We took a chance on Balotelli and at the time I thought it was a risk worth taking and could understand the logic behind the deal.  Unfortunately he has proved once again that he really isn't a risk worth taking!
