I disagree with you here mate..... I know many have serious doubts about this lad's ability but I have always rated him. I just feel that he's been utilized in a manner that ill suits him in the past.
If we set up correctly and he's given a clear role that plays up his gifts, the lad will shine IMO.
Like most brazillians ('cept Dunga), Lucas needs a little freedom to do his thing instead of over constraining his movement and role.

totally agree I rate Lucas highly and after the season he just had ....I think he deserves a chance under a new manager ... I still think the Kid can be a vital player for us this season

exactly, the new Brazilian managers just trying to make a statement by dropping the big names, god help them if they think they will ever win anything with Lucas in central midfield.
