The game changed when he came on that's for sure, and we seemed to lose impetus when he went off too.
Got a horrible feeling he might have an extended spell on the sidelines though, the way he reacted to the initial tackle looked very similar to the way he fell/grabbed his knee when he did his cruciate at Stamford bridge.
Hope I'm wrong

It didn't look good mate, and if the original assessment from Rodgers is correct it could prove pivotal to our chances.

Possibly rested which is why he didn't start but regrettably the squad is not strong enough to rotate. Came on and pulled up.

Leiva is the only genuine one of his type we have so naturally it leaves a hole when he is missing, but that does not mean he
is a top class player, but merely shows the lack of quality in depth, our obvious defect.

We need a better player than Lucas in that position but its not finding I am sure, its buying power that's our problem.

I think Lucas is under rated by some and his loss will be missed. Maybe this will force them to buy a DM and hopefully a good one that makes Lucas a back up.

One or two rumours that the news isn't too good regarding his injury, talk of him missing 3 months or more.
What date is it today? The 19th? If we don't go out and buy a DM in the next week or so then we are stuck with Gerrard as our holding midfielder for the rest of the season.

Will be desperately missed and unless we can address the situation in this transfer window , we will not get 4th place...

At a time when it feels like we are starting to stutter, and fall down the league, Saturday showed the massive impact Lucas (quietly) has on our team and performance.

If he is out for an extended period I fear for our season, judging by how we did without him in the first half.

Lots of talk about Salah being our main target which seems odd when we already cannot accommodate the four forward players we have. Surely we must now go out and buy another DM that can step straight into the team.

Missed so much by the manager that he favours a player you think is sh*te over him...

He's garbage quite frankly and the sooner we're shut of him, the better.

unfortunately the manager lacks the balls to address the problem of Gerrard ...similar to the other SG fanatics

At least BR won't have to make the big decision of whether he should drop Gerrard or not. At least not any time soon.

If true, I think his career at LFC is done.
