reina: 7/10- had very little to do, only real work he had was murphys 2 early shots.

arbeloa: 8/10-looks a bit dozzy at times but makes some good runs forwards and back.

aurelio: 7/10- makes some good runs and crosses, theres somthing about him that i like.

carra: 8/10-dealt with everything chucked at him although it was very little, kept collecting ball from reina to try and speed things up.

hyypia: 9/10 (my man of match)- looked like the old sami we all know and love. had a decdent left foot strike and was very commanding at the back. won lots of headers and tackles.

beniyion: 8/10- looks very sharp when on the ball, loves to run towards goal in and out of players and showed another decent display.

riise: 6/10-not his best performance, gave balla way a few times and never really looked threatening.

gerrard: 8/10- scored and made a couple of good runs, had a sharp eye and tried to pick out players.

mascherano: 8/10- gave ball away a bit but is a very useful player, runs up and down the pitch for as long as is needed winning important tackles.

crouch: 8/10-won the penelty and hit crossbar, looks in form and would like to see him play more regulary.

voronin: 8/10- starting to look like a decent player to have in the team. had a couple of chances go brgging but he created them on his own and always runs into decent positions to collect the ball or knock it on.

my man of match: hyypia

Does lawrie Sanchez need glasses?

Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez said: 'I felt we were heading for a point, and so I think did 43,000 other people.

'But Liverpool brought a bit of talent off the bench and it changed the game. I actually felt that Torres mis hit his final shot, and that is what confused Hughes and Niemi. It was a soft goal in the end to concede.

'As for the penalty, I don't believe it was in the box, it wasn't a penalty.

'I felt we had kept them quiet, restricted them to shots from outside the box in the first half.

'It wasn't working for them. That is why they brought on three substitutes. One at £25m, one at £11m and one at £5m. I think there should be cap on the price of players you can bring on, maybe no more than £20m of players.'

OK the penalty was outside the area but Torres intended that goal.

Soft goal is he loooppyyy.

and hi this is my first post.

Liverpoolfc.tv Man-of-the-Match: Yossi Benayoun

good or bad decision?

I think it's honorable decision... :p

Haven't seen the match yet but I'm made up with the result.  Great to see Torres score another and it sounds like there were good performances all over the park.  Too bad we have another international break to sit through, now!

Manhattan is watching Kylie on ITV right now.

Then I'll watch MOTD.

Then I may watch the Country Music Awards on BBC 2

Reina 7 Made one good save and one assist, distributed the ball well. Quiet afternoon for him really.

Aurelio 7 Suffered a bit first half but played much better in the second. Nearly scored with a free kick and put in a couple of good crosses.

Arbeloa 7 Worked hard up and down the flank and made a few good runs and tackles.

Hyypia 8 outstanding game

Carra 7 solid as a rock

Riise 5 Struggled to make an impact and his passing was poor

Mascherano 6 probably as bad a game as he has played for us, his passing was sloppy at times and didn't seem to have his usual energy (maybe tired?)

Gerrard 8 Injected pace and urgency into our play, could have done better with the chance, but took a great penalty.

Benayoun 7 Drifted in and out of the game but always looked like he was trying to create something.

Voronin 8 Just needed a goal to seal a very good hardworking performance

Crouch 7 Should have been following up on Torres shot, otherwise a good performance.

Babel 7 Looked lively and showed his pace

Lucas 7 Did nothing wrong and didn't look out of place.

Torres 8 I was just begining to despair when he scored. Great goal, great striker.

Rafa 8/10 got it right with the subs, but why wasn't Kewell on the bench?

A little more craft in the final third and I think we may have got a couple more goals today. Fulham worked hard but we deserved the win. Happy and relieved that we won, as it began to look like it wasn't going to be our day.

Pretty much on the money with those assessments saint..

Benayoun has picked up a groin strain during the match today and will miss Israel's tie against Russia. What a shame...

He will more than likely be OK again in a couple of week - same as Rooney will, eh fergie  :glare:

think rafa got it right today

torres shouldnt have started, he needs to be eased back in so he doesnt agrivate his injury like vs arsenal

the team looked like a team at times, which was great to see

voronin looked good again, deserved a goal and babel is started to look quality

got a feeling riises liverpool career may be over soon

he hasnt been good for years, consistent performances of the standard 6 out of 10 just isnt good enough

auerlio has footballing ability and i think if he stays fit he could be a good left back....and im like arbeloa more and more

Were just starting to look good again whats the bet that the international games will again fu*k us up.

Apart from the usual suspects I think Aurellio is starting to look good again and Babel is starting show is real worth and also Voronin's link up play and vision has been spot on.On the other hand is it me or is Risse getting worse with every game?
