The most encouraging signs are that they defend in numbers and also attack in numbers. GOAL FROM CISSE. Murphy again fed him and he ran at Varga beating him and slotted home.5-1

They have really played some nice one touch stuff too. Full of movement and hard work. Rafa's methods are working already it seems to me.

To be fair on Celtic they have put a fair few youngsters out tonight. Not taking anything away from Liverpool though because they have played well tonight. Finnan has been ok but still looks a bit edgy when on the back foot. Getting forward he has done well.
