He will most likely start, he played 60 minutes against Newcastle, and ALT scored, in the draw. Maybe he'll get some playing time. Maybe we'll win, maybe we won't, just never expect too much the first season. (see below)

They stated that he played "solid", which at this point I'd interpret as if he looks injury free. Doubt he'll be back in his pre-injury stride, but it's a start

I'm looking forward to Kewell coming back - see if he can capture anything like his form at Leeds. I've always rated him - but he has been very disappointing for us over the last year. But a lot of that, he seemed to attribute to the injury he has just been treated for. So fingers crossed - bit of match fitness & a bit of luck to help his confidence, we could have a decent player on our hands again. That's something were gonna be screaming out for in the Champions League tie. I'm quite optimistic - if we can get him, Baros, Garcia & Gerrard really into the game - we could do them some serious damage.
I'd expect to see Le Tallec on the bench - with all the injuries we have & Morientes ineligible. So maybe Le Tallec will take his chance if he's given some time against the Germans.
Who know's - I'm just clutching at very thin optimism after our shambolic performance against the Brumm.
Kewell: I couldn't care less what people say about me
Liverpool midfielder Harry Kewell says he couldn't care less what his critics are saying about him.
Dogged with injury problems and a loss of form when fit, the media along with the fans have rightly rounded on him telling him to sort himself out. There are rumours that he will have to undergo surgery before next season but right now the player is only concentrating on getting his Anfield career back on track.
Kewell said: "I don't really care what people say. I have had a bit of grief from the media about my form, but I just try to ignore it.
"It is is always someone's turn to be brought down a peg, and I guess, recently, it has been mine. People who have a go might think they're getting to me, but they're not. The digs just make me stronger."
Kewell's head off the pitch has also been down due to living on his own for most of the week while his wife and two children stayed at the family home in Wetherby. Sick of pacing his flat in Liverpool on his own, he's just snapped up a property in Manchester of all places to enable the family to be re-united.
"I just missed them all so much," said the player. "Taylor and Ruby were getting a bit confused. They thought that when I wasn't at home, I lived inside the TV, that was the only other place they ever saw me.
"Now I will be at home nearly every night and be able to walk the kids to their pre-schools in the morning. I'll help out at dinner time and give the kids their baths."
Kewell vows to come back stronger 19/02/05 Harry Kewell is craving the chance to show his value to Liverpool in the Carling Cup final.
The former Leeds winger is poised to emerge from the despair in long-term injury to play in Liverpool's most important sequence of matches this season - and he could even return in time for Tuesday's Champions League game with Bayer Leverkusen.

I don't think we should even give kewell much consideration. he's had his chance, and is strictly a mediocre player. Don't expect magic things when he returns. he's a bottler and his head goes down, but his bank balance goes up every month.!

Strongly disagree. His injuries have bottled his season for him[he's at fault for the most part as he didn't get the surgery he needed asap instead he went on vacation] however that doesn't mean that he doesn't deserve another chance. Mediocore player? Get your head out of your a$$. He may be in poor form but the talent and the skill he has is not gone.
Before getting injured he had 2 assists and a goal, he was slowly getting back into form and he's hungry again. His confidence and determination will grow under Rafa, mark my words.
