Just got back from one of the most pathetic Liverpool derby wins EVER.

It is all very well puffing our chests out and celebrating the win but it was an ugly and sad performance made worse by the INEXPLICABLE subsitution of Gerrard while Sissoko stayed on the pitch. WTF is going on in Raffa's head ?

One of the saddest incidents was the calling for the sending off by Gerrard. It was a penalty and it was a sending off offence but it did NOT need a scouser pointing it out to the ref that the blue needed sending off. That is NOT the scouse way of playing !!

A quick drink in one of the lounges got me the "TIP" to put money on Dozey Jose going to Milan for a couple of years and then coming to Anfield as our new manager. The guy who told me is NO nugget and has been very close to the truth in the past.

There is no pleasing some people is there?......for fukks sake we won and thoroughly deserved the win...and as for gerrard being subsituted....so what?...its time we saw the real "stevie G"...and not the "stevie Me"!...it was a brave decision by rafa to take him off...and it was proved the right one when lucas shot was handled on the line by neville...no one is bigger than the club...not even gerrard...bravo rafa!.

we started of well ,then same old story we gave away the ball , mainly momo, then we got a load of pressure from the bluesh!tes ,  sami scored a beautiful goal just for the record and kuyt saved him

Stuff the pair of yer ! Gerrard was reminding the Ref of the rules, nothing wrong with that.

Had it been Finnan on Arteta then the bitters - crowd and fans - would have made sure it was red. My own belief is yellow and a penalty is punishment enough for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity, BUT the rules is the rules and he had to go. Gerrard was probably only saying he wasn't going to take the penalty anyway

LOL do u honestly believe that , if he wasn't the last man then yes yellow but he was so it was a red .. 2 bad , today we had luck on our side and i am glad we put on over the bitters .. arterta is a diving MothaFecker and shud have sent off , he conned clattenburg a few times into giving him free kicks

For a newbie Toffeehater, you do have something of a machine gun approach to posting. Are you a WUM who is going to do one of those unveiling ceremonies which we've come to know and love, or do you just liek haveing your name alongside all the topics as the most recent poster

Are we honestly to believe Clattenburg understands scouse anyway? I bet he only took the card out of his pocket and realised it wasn't the right one, like refs get it right first time on anything!

he kept the red card in the wrong place and just because gerrard approached him , gollem said that he changed the refs mind frm a yellow card to a red 1

Compress all the posts together into one big long post just like I do, and despite the fact you'll bore everyone senseless, at least then you won't get on everyone's t!ts. You see, then they've got the option of ot reading your meanderings. When you clutter up the threads with one liners it gets peoples backs up.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with Gerrard reminding the ref of the rules, but I do think that if the ref changed his mind as a result he got it completely wrong.

Now don't get me wrong in my eyes it should've been a red card, but if the ref had decided it was a yellow he should have been strong enough not to be influenced by anyone to change it. Still, quite a few if's there, it could well just have been that he pulled out the wrong card initially. Has Clattenburg come out & said anything about it?
