Was okay.. Nothing special and didnt need to be given the opposition... Should have gone forward a bit ore perhaps but overall, not much to note besides him getting the debut out of the way...
Would have loved to see Aurelio given another go alongside Downing on the left, but if it didnt happen today then it most probably wont happen anytime soon...

"We weren't anticipating playing him because Fabio (Aurelio) was in last week, but he got injured, so we had no choice but to put Jose in.

Dalglish on Aurelio

and he had a very solid debut some stats

Yea he was decent defensively but did little going forward.. Even Adam was telling him to push up in the second half but for some reason he always stayed back...

I expect him to be a good signing though and he'll obviously start making more runs as the side starts to gel together and perhaps when a Meireles or Aquilani start down the middle..

Good displays and much better than the first game.. Went forward well.. Defended well...

Guy can dribble too. At one point went on a Messi-esque run, won a corner or free kick from it I think.

On todays performance deffo looked the "business", once he settles into the side can surely only get better and better

Great signing, 5.5mil looks a steal, if he can play at the level he showed today consistently then we got a star on our hands
