the steal of the transfer window for me given his age and ability. all i'll say is the current spanish international left back must be bloody good to be better than this guy.

fine I'll start with a little bit of criticism..

I'm not too convinced about this defending sometimes, also he usually plays the riskier pass rather than the safe one or is reluctant just to clear the ball away.

Other than that he is pretty good

Our best signing since Suarez, absolute bargain for a player of that quality. He will be in the spanish team soon enough as there not strong in the left back department.

£5M is a snip for this guy. Proven EPL player and has slotted right into the team. Solid left back who gives us options in attack and had a good left foot.

Can't be long until he is involved in the Spain squads.

Did very well today and yet again showed that hes our best purchase in the summer. Cant wait for Johnson to be back because I think Enrique can benefit from someone carrying the ball down the other flank to take some of the pressure off of him. Not the best at taking the ball out but hes effective at the back and in dangerous areas further up.

He's been awesome all season but yesterday was his best game in a red shirt and once again he surpassed the high standards he has already set for himself. So so impressed by this guy. He didn't give an inch yesterday, the lad is so quick but he's also strong as an ox and he literally bullies wingers off the ball. Also, if he doesn't make that surging run and cross for the goal I personally wonder if we would have scored yesterday. Comfortably the man of the match for me and based on what we've seen so far he is the best bargain of the summer by any club in the Premier League. Arbeloa gets in the Spanish squad and Enrique can't get in the squad? Someone from the Spain set-up needs to get down to Anfield because this lad is the real deal.

He did say 'other' flank and he's quite right, Kelly is poor going forward we need Jonno back
