I know he's been bought for the future, but with others not being here ( Water Boy, Meireles) this is a big chance for Jordan to step up and have an impact.

I'll put money on Gerrard being available to start after the international break

Same here.  Think we may just be milking it to ensure Stevie's not called.  Hope that's the case at least.

this dude cant play right wing.

for his sake, i hope he either sits on the bench to be used later as a central midfielder, or not play at all.

Not good enough... We desperately need to play our best starting 11 week in week out to ensure we get the 3 points against the smaller sides...
Enough with the stupid decisions of playing unworthy players just to prove they are worth what we (over)paid for them..

Looks way out of his depth and frightened to death of playing for LFC- no mental strength whatsoever.

Nailed on fialure for me and if he hasn't improved 100% by the end of the season we should get rid...20 yrs of age and you know what you are going to get. He will never lace Gerrards boots even in his prime 5 -6 years from now.

I don't have anything against the lad but if he has to play it must in the middle.
To be blunt at the moment it's looking a waste of money when we badly need some pace and flair in the central midfield.

I still think he looks over-awed with playing for Liverpool.
He needs to man up and grow a pair sharpish

I think he needs to be moved in to the middle for Adam if we're to persist with a 4 across midfield. Essentially he is a central midfielder by all accounts and I think he was brought as Gerrard's long term replacement. However, by the time he hopefully gets his chance in the middle, his whole game could be shot to pieces by then.

He is a young lad still learning and growing into the game - he has had some good moments with us so far and overall has been ok . He will get better and more comfortable as both he and the team develop together . CM is his preferred role but when out on the right i believe he should drift in a bit more and play the old Houghton role during the 80's .

In a couple years I think he'll be a real talent.  Right now tho, he's not ready for Liverpool.

Thought he played really well against Chelsea the other night. You can tell that he's far more comfortable in the middle. Thought he showed some excellent touches and you can see that he excels with movement around him. His control is also excellent.

tecnically, he's one of the best players i've seen in a red shirt in years. He's still a rough diamond - which has upset somig when you consider how much we paid - but i like him and think he'll develop into a great player.
