Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Hendo is showing all the signs that he'll be a good player.  Bellamy got credited with assisting the first goal the other night but Hendo's ball to Bellamy was beautiful.

tecnically, he's one of the best players i've seen in a red shirt in years. He's still a rough diamond - which has upset somig when you consider how much we paid - but i like him and think he'll develop into a great player.

are you from the north east of England?

nope.  Should I be to believe that Henderson is going to develop into a good player?

Against Chelsea his ball control was superb, the same in the league game.

He is 21 and has plenty of time to mature - learn from your Lucas mistake and let the lad develop .

He has great technical ability just needs to develop and build confidence .

what Lucas mistake, because you say hes the best in the premiership after 4 years of trying that means its true   Henderson hasnt shown much evidence of 'great technical ability' all hes shown is that hes out of his depth. Its still early, but i cant see what this guy has in his game that makes him such an expensive signing, good players like Mereirles and Aquilani are gone because he was signed.

This guy deserves praise...hes improving all the time, his confidence is growing, and against Villa he started to dictate proceedings. Demanding the ball... making the pass... then making himself open to recieve it again. Long may his progress continue.

He did barely anything of note against a team who were probably the worst weve faced all season  ???

I would agree with the great technical ability bit and the people criticising him are probably the same ones that ctiticised Lucas, he wasn't cheap but will be a far better acquisition than Mereilies or Aquilani.

Just get behind the team and let the coaches decide who deserves to be in the team.

Central midfield is where this lad belongs.

The lad is like a fruit that is not ripe yet. I'm sure he'll improve his game and perform much better in future seasons, but not this season.

So Hendo finding the task at hand a bit too much? At this stage I'm afraid he has no place in our starting line up - should really get accuainted with the bench and maybe get some reserve duty. Had his chances but doesn't deliver anything. Really emberressing watching his inability to produce anything positive day after day.

not good enough to start IMO, maybe he has potential, but he shouldn't be a starter

Either Stevie or Jonjo ,Hendo and Adam are on their way to the bench.

Really like those signings at the time but at this point after so many games it's time for them to prove their worth from the bench.
