Was his new long term contract signed recently a mistake, or a serious error of judgement by our manager!?

We need that playmaker, creative type defo in the summer. It's so clear it's  unreal.

Ah I wouldn't have noticed  :wwww ...other than the other 30 or so times when the name "Jordan Henderson" was mentioned, you know a certain banana would popped up

And there was definitely something in it when he was subbed off. He clearly meant to disrespect Klopp.

OK Hendo was solid all night but Fabinho was so crucial to shielding the backline and Gini was the engine to get things moving in the middle of the park, it was inevitable that Hendo will have to make way because he was offering very little going forward. Too bad that Shaq did fuck all when he came on so it was frustrating seeing so many players appeared to be so clueless in finding out ways to break down the bus and very much playing on the edge

Couldn’t agree more. His desire was amazing. We just need to see more it.

Another excellent game from the Skipper - some of the balls he played where outstanding - if Silva or De Bruyne had played them everyone would be raving about them - quality last night

Very interesting that Juergen Klopp admitted today that it was his fault that Henderson has not been allowed to be more creative in an attacking role. He went on to say that he had little option but to play Henderson in a deep defensive role. However the situation has now changed with the arrival of Fabinho.

In my opinion Hendo has had his best two games in a very long time. He made a massive difference when he came on as substitute against Southampton and last night against Porto he was very impressive !!  If Keita can continue to improve and then a midfield of Hendo Nabby and Fab could be the way forward.

He looks better playing further forward, he's much more pro-active, playing in that holding role he's too one paced and his passing tends to be sideways and backwards, playing further forward though he presses with real intent and he tries to make things happen.

Isn’t it great how well he is playing now - shoving a lot of words down some peoples throats

Him , Fabinho and Keita really shaping into our midfield to start with

Looks like a man on a mission at the moment. You get the feeling that if we get over the line in either or both competitions Henderson will be a key figure.

Henderson since Klopp has given him a more attacking role has looked very impressive. He deserves the accolades now and especially after last night against Barca. Make no mistakes though the criticism he received when he was playing a deeper role wasn’t  totally without justification. Clearly he didn’t enjoy the more defensive position and I hope we never have to see him playing it again.

WELL DONE HENDO. BRILLIANT GAME AGAINST A TEAM THAT MANY REGARD AS THE BEST IN THE WORLD.

He was just doing his managers job and holding the fort until Fab was ready and then he was allowed to go into his favoured role. He is the engine , the skipper and hopefully soon he can left silverware because it would be fitting for him and his team

The heart of this guy... not the most gifted footballer but I don't know a lot of other players these days that would give everything no matter what. Suddenly starting to remember why we made him captain in the first place :D

Klopp's "please no" when Hendo went down said it all really. Had the same reaction myself.

Yup hats off Welldone to Hendo and Milly. We need these sort of experienced players in our squad.
