We finished 7th because he left and Lucas replaced him, well now we have Lucas and Poulson. Instead of Mascherano & Alonso.

completely agree. Sign of how bad things are going from Masch and Alonso to Poulsen and Lucas

LOOK BACK JUST 2 SEASONS TO HOW STRONG WE WERE

Riena
Arbeloa                                  (Gone)
Carragher
Hyppia/Agger/Skrtel                  (Hyppia Gone)
Aurellio
Kuyt
Masherano                              (Gone)
Alonso                                    (Gone)
Riera/Benayoun                        (Gone Gone)
Gerrard                                   (Be Gone next season?)
Torres                                    (Be Gone soon?)

We had a very strong team and we never kicked on why, was it Rafa? no he was never allowed to build on this team, The answer is simple the f.u.k.i.n yanks are screwing us big style

Great player and we shouldn't underestimate his desperation to leave Liverpool ...I mean the club have delivered false promises left right and center ...this is no longer the Liverpool of old something is intrinsically different ,and the atmosphere and anxiety that surrounds the club is having a profound effect on players and fans alike ........... ,put simply it is not a nice place to presently be , there currently exists enough P.R spin to embarrass Max Clifford, and the clubs Lies and agendas have only served to resurrect  our own deeply buried anxiety's
Lets not be blinkered about this the club is being asset stripped before our very eyes ....and to make matters worse there are still fans who believe Hodgson will be given the lions share of the proceeds ??? ...... when only today in an interview Hodgson stated there would be no replacement for Mascherano  :( and time is ebbing away in the transfer window ? Frankly it comes as little shock to find that when it comes to the procuring of much needed reinforcements we our being played like the proverbial village idiots

I will miss the Little Chief ,and Liverpool Football Club and its midfield  will be poorer for his departure ..... that much is a given ???

These are the managers words earlier Today :
'We still need to improve our squad and we haven't much time to do that,' said the Reds boss. 'I am hoping that in the short period left in the transfer window we still have the chance to add at least a couple of players in the squad to at least replace the ones who are no longer with us.

'With Mascherano going we are losing a lot of player and not bringing any in so it is not good in that respect.' :(

Fantastic post.

I believe the way he has gone about leaving is not acceptable, and i do believe The cancers are trying to rob as much cash as they can before they get ousted.

He was the bite every world class side needs in its team, someone to pitbull everyone and harry them, chase back breakers from corners, all to which he did better than anyone, he was our little pitbull and the midfield will miss him immensly, we got rid of our playmaker in Alonso and now we have got rid of the dirty side of our midfield (more fool anyone who doesnt think every top side needs one).

Looking more and more desolate our squad now, only a few big names left (and when i say big i mean world class)

I hope to god we can get at least one more player in this window, because im going to kick my own :censored: if i have to watch Lucas and Gerrard play together all season

I have high hopes for Poulson. I've never seen him play, but from what I've heard, he could be as good as the Argentinian git who has just left. Of course, could is a big word.

Appreciate your sentiments mate but FFS get a grip, are you seriously expecting Spearing to "step up" and replace a world class midfielder ? . The lad's not even premiership quality.

Poulson will NOT be as good as Masch, trust me.  We keep signing average players, we'll end up with average performances on the pitch.

Its a joke for anyone to even suggest he is anywhere near masher levels of play

Poulson is a sensible option at the moment though. When we have limited funds he isnt a bad player to bring in for a cheap price. He can do the job of covering the back four, he is pretty reliable and thats all we need for the time being.
