Lucas is better than plessis . we need 5 cm mate . 4 in first team sqaud plus a back up . so thats Gerrard,Xabi,Masher,Lucas plus plessis as back up.

I'd be ecstatic if we sign Valencia, Owen and Rafina.

That maybe a tad unrealistic though. If it where me I would sell Benayoun and buy Owen. Deal may only cost us 3 million or so and Owen is a class player.

with the inflated prices nowadays I don't think we can get him for 9 mil... they'll probably sell him for like 13-14 million... but then again it depends on how long his contract is left...

Don't rate Lennon at all. Headless chicken with no end product. Valencia would be a far better option and a lot cheaper. I'm surprised Wigan managed to hold onto him in the summer to be honest.

The lad is history, injury prone and would love to come back to Anfield and milk the cow for a few more million however as a footballer in today's Liverpool side, he has nothing to offer.

Wasnt he at the heart of thosee come backs against Man City and Wigan. He isnt played enough imo.

As for Degen give him a few games in the reserves. I doubt we could get even 12Mil for Keane if we tried to sell him, looks like we got mugged again.

Rafa doesnt really have a good success rate with half unknown players.

He seemed to be sitting top not so long ago.

There's a raft of relative sh!te we could look to offload in January i.e. Voronin, Itandje, Pennant, Dossena (I know it's early), Lucas, Babel, Benayoun etc.  it just depends on the market, and also who's available.

The only two to be mentioned so far that have been something of a surprise to me have been Keane and Lucas. Lucas because I still think he is going to be a good player, and Keane because others seem to think he will come good.

personally would et rid of pennant, benayoun, degen , doessena. would keep babel because he can pop in a goal at times..his our supr sub.. selling keane? lol is that a joke.. the guy maybe playing below par but his skill a class technical player..also the amount be brought him for no club would even pay half of that.. well maybe just about half.

Odd to do this without knowing the three most important factors, how much money we have stashed away for this window, Who is available, and at what cost?

I don't see us selling to sell. I would like to think we would only sell if we had a clear target in mind and had to raise cash in order to buy that target.

Do you two ever actually read my posts? I said that we would of course need to get cover for the fullback positions before letting them go. In midfield we have plenty of youngsters who could cover if needed.
