I quite liked the corner we worked the other night to get Sami that free header: fizz the ball along the ground to Mascherano (if memory serves) who redirects to Kuyt back post to hoist up for Sami at the near post.  It had Inter standing still ball-watching.  More invention is needed in our set pieces in general.

Yeah Bob, first time in memory (mine at least) where we actually tried a bit of invention and it nearly paid off.

It was Stevie Finnan on the edge the box, he played it first time to Kuyt.

A bit of creativity, opened them up. I'd still like all our free kicks/corners to be fizzed in rather than floated. If it's fizzed in, it gives the on coming player less work, they only need to concentrate on direction, rather than trying to work on power as well.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Yeah, it was Gerrard (taking the corner) to Finnan, to Kuyt , to Sammi.

For those among you who might be feeling all is lost from time to time, those who have already pulled out all their hair, those who feel this side and it's manager have completely lost all sense of direction for the rest of the season and beyond.

Take a little time to watch the Greatest, most Powerful 12th man in football in action again. Even if I never see another title win in my life-time, NOTHING can beat being a part of this.......

If you've got Eseason ticket go and watch the version on there. The Inter players look like rabbits caught in headlights in the tunnel before the game.

You are right but the Chelsea players cost around 100 million whereas our cost more like fifteen.

If all you are going to cough up is ten or so grand, do not expect to get a Ferrari (more like an Escort).
