What if more injuries?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Question no 1.
if the ineligible players could play, which one you reckon would win? :p

Ineligible Squad
Kirkland
Traore
Josemi
Warnock
Hamann
Le Tallec
Mellor
Alonso
Baros
Morientes
Cisse

res: Pongolle

versus:

Eligible squad
Dudek
Finnan
Hyypia
Pellegrino
Carragher
Nunez
Gerrard
Biscan
Riise
Smicer
Garcia

Res: Welsh?

Question no 2.
What should Rafa do if -during the Bolton game, Gerrard (for working too hard); Garcia (for not 100% fit yet) and; Carra (for not having enough rest) were all injured?

:kungfu:

i`d bring back kenny, digger barnes and jan molby after todays performances.
i`d bring back ian rush anyway - he still could do a job.

I think if we get any more injuries we should lodge a complaint with the FA and try to get some emergency status that would allow us to pick up some players.  I remember Rafa talked about how its allowed for Keepers, doubt it'd happen tho

If we get more injuries then LFC should let us play for free.

Hey if we lose Garcia then bugger Nunez I want a game!!!
I have international caps and LFC wouldnt even need to worry about a jersey cos Ive got one. :D

Course they may get a bit confused with it saying Alonso on the back, but im sure that would only strike fear into the hearts of our opponents :;):

French forward Anthony Le Tallec had to be taken off during France Under-21's 1-1 draw with Switzerland.

The player came on for Olympique Lyon striker Bryan Bergougnoux who had to come off after taking a knock early in the first half. But Le Tallec himself was substituted 20 minutes after the restart after suffering a thigh injury.

With Djibril Cisse, Florent Sinama Pongolle, Harry Kewell, Neil Mellor, Fernando Morientes and Milan Baros all unavailable for the next Premiership match against Bolton, Luis Garcia and Vladimir Smicer are the only recognised forwards left in Rafa Benitez's squad. And both of them are not out-and-out goalscorers.

The extent of Le Tallec's injury is not known at this moment but there's a possibility that he might be out for a few weeks or it might well be just a minor strain.

Possibilities.......

Headlines in Sundays News of The World

F.A. to charge Benitez and Moores with tapping up OAP's (Over Age Players) from the pension queues. Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush and John Aldridge deny any contact with Liverpool bosses. Jan Molby was unavailable for comment, and Alan Hansen has not been seen at his BBC post for the last week or so. Mark Lawrenson has made several outspoken comments on 5-Live about going back in time now Dr. Who has returned......

Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road
