It,s got to be goal number 7 v spurs.1978. 3 passes and a brilliant header from terry mac. Oh!  Those were the days. WHEN WE WERE KINGS

Agree Terry Mac´s goal was masterly, but Stevie´s header in the 2005 CL final was perfection plus of course it had MASSIVE ramifications. For beauty and impact it goes to SG.

Agreed with Stevie's goal v Milan; Kenny's goal v FC Burges & Alan Kennedy's goal v Real for sheer importance but we scored so many great and beautiful goals back in those glory days...but one that stood out the most was Michael Thomas goal for the Ar-se against us...remembered I was stunned for days and the horror of him gliding the ball past Stevie and slot it past Bruce still played out in slow motion till this day   :veryangry

A lot to choose from, SG's goal against Olympiakos, never screamed that much in my entire life when that went in! Its the goal that lead us to the CL round of 16 in 2005 and the rest is history

Gerrard against west ham in injury time in the cup final has to be up there, you won't see a ball hit sweeter

agreed and with retrospect it was a fitting cherry on the top of that glorious 2001-2006 period in our history.

always helps if you are there as well, that will ALWAYS add to the goal at a personal level. And I was there, and it was good.

That's the one I would choose because of the importance, the quality of the strike and the fact he was barely able to walk at the time either.

2005 FA Cup final for me. The quality of the strike, the occasion, an the timing. What a player.

All good shouts as there's too many to mention. So I'll just leave this one-  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-bc0wWMNT0
Mcallister's wonder free-kick against the bitters to nick it right at the end. Was living abroad at the time but would have loved to have seen the blue-nose faces right after the match   :D

Terry Macs V Spurs at White Hart Lane in 1979 wasnt bad either. Chipped it up and volleyed it in, superb. Goal of that season I think. Saw him other day at a pre season game, one all of my all time best McDermott, brilliant player.
