With Houllier though it's not just about the dodgy signings. I respect his record and what he's done for the club but I don't understand why he is so negative and why he is so stubborn.

Negativity, a perfect example. Against Boro we came out fired up second half, playing some good stuff, got the two goals.
From there I thought we should have gone on and got more but GH was happy to sit on the lead.

There was a point were Kewell was going down the left and Riise went to overlap only to be told by GH, Thommo and Sammy Lee to get back!!

What's that about, we're at Anfield, we're playing Boro, they're crapping themselves at the stuff we're playing, why stop?

As for being stubborn, well everyone can see Biscan is one of the worst players in the Premiership but GH was determined to prove a point. In the end (Arsenal, Marseille) the only point proved was that Biscan IS the worst player in the Premiership.
