Robbie was never more than about 5 goals off Shearer and that was Shearer in his prime - 26-30, Robbie at his best at his age now would get 35 - 40 a season easy.

Robbie's back among the goals today for Man City - not against the highest quality opposition, but it would be great if he gets some interest on the back of it.

has anyone read Collymores autobiography, he says in it the 2 seasons he was at Anfield he had never seen anybody like Fowler before, Owen, Lineker and Shearer didnt have a patch on him, i suggest anyone who thinks Owen is better should watch Fowler 95/96 96/97, simply the greatest goalscorer i have ever seen, he didnt miss, like collymore said, he was one footed but who needs a right foot when your left is that good!!
