I heard that Liddel could really kick a medicine ball! And he was wearing his shorts above the knee long before it became "cool".  :eyebrow

What u on about? Redknapp was class! Robbed of his prime through injury. I'm only 26 so it was the likes of redknapp, fowler and macca who i was watching along with the mighty ruddock! Haha! Ahh the 90's....

I think i've got a boss team there though! Can't believe somebody put Liddel in though! I might as well of stuck in some of the first ever liverpool team!

McAteer and Ziege was pretty decent by my standard...but what about the likes of Djimi 'Bambi' Troare, Julian Dicks, Razor Ruddock, Torben Piechnik, Salif Diao, Rigobert Song, Bruno Cheyrou, Andrea Dossena, Abel Xavier?

I started watching Liverpool since I was 12 yrs of age, so that was back in 99/2000 :D

I'll choose based on those 11 years

Reina - Carragher - Hyypia - Babbel - Riise - Hamann - Alonso - Gary Mac - Gerrard - Fowler - Torres/Owen (hard to choose between the two)

Suarez will be on my list in a few years :nod

Its hard to believe that we haven't properly replaced Barnes, Beardsley and Mcmanaman, even our fullbacks! when was the last time we had a quality left back?

Phil Babb was a ...decent LB. Decent only though. I always have fond memories of Babb because he literally 'took one for the team' once. He was a pacey player and I remember the ball trickling towards our goal once. Phil Babb's our only hope, he's at full pelt, racing towards the ball to clear it. He slides in, clears the ball ..and his momentum took him sliding, one leg each side of the post. Oooof! The ultimate posty. I still cringe when I remember it.

My memory wasn't accurate. Poor guy never even cleared the ball. :sniffle

Better link here but you gotta put up with Roary McGrath or whoever he is.

Had to fit him into my favourite 11 side Neil, as far as I'm concerned he can play where ever he likes.  I'm not telling him anything    :D

ps in the later stages of his LFC career Shanks did move him to RB.

If only.....

29 actually  :D

But i've seen plenty of old tapes and read loads about both. I reckon both would warrant a place in the side mate.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.
