Agreed.

He needs games and the move away suits all parties. Was never much a fan of his because he really did struggle at the club.

We'll be lucky to get 4-5 million back in the end. Not worth more.
Andy Caroll type signing.

Allen is almost at that level. We'll never get anything close to 10 million for him.

Was never good enough - was bought because he was available and BR was confident with him.

Yep ,it was a small team mentality signings...You kinda hope he will bring value to the team but it's more of a gamble. (Hope Aspas doesn't fall into this category)

Good luck at Sunderland Fabio. Never really cut it at the club, but he is still young and he may improve with regular football.

Aspas is showing the exact same characteristics as Borini - great in pre season when faced with weak defences but as soon as they come up against any type of physical strength they struggle badly - could see it against Celtic for Aspas. Don't think either are suited to the prem - Aspas even more so

We have a very think squad anyway so I don't see why we're loaning him. Maybe we're bringing in someone else though, there's still a bit of time left.

Not sure I agree with this. Aspas for me so far has ran his ***** off every time he's played, shown good feet, movement, and intelligence. I don't think he's going to win you a league, but I do believe he's a tidy and useful player.

Borini was quite frankly a non league player. Shocking signing.

With the departure of Borini, doesn't this leave us light up front? Who plays if Sturridge gets injured? Should have bought a new forward.

Suarez ? Moses ?

I agree that we're light upfront now. We have 4 attacking positions and 6 players to fill them (not counting the kids).

                                       Coutinho/Henderson

                           Moses      Sturridge/Aspas     Suarez

It looks solid in terms of quality IMO, but the lack of depth is a bit concerning, even if we're not playing in Europe. Should have kept either Borini or Downing, just in case.
