I'll spew out one response, "we won the champions league" - what that has to do with winning the league is anyone's guess
Then why on the other hand use our current Champions League predicament as a stick to beat the Manager with? I'm not particularly happy with the state of things right now but imho a lot of posters would be fairly satisfied (i didn't say delighted) with our league form (6pts off the top + a game in hand on most of our rivals) had it not been for our form in the Champions League.
It's all very well saying 'Rafa can't do it in the league', 'he will never win it', 'it's the league we want, not Europe' and then stick the boot into the manager because the European form is poor. I'm not saying a lot of the criticism isn't justified and fairplay to any fan if they have lost faith in the manager but it does strike me that there is a lot of horse s.h...i..t getting spouted on here as well as in the press.
Am simply praying the manager and players can turn it around and all the doom mongerers who only seem to post when things are going bad can f..u...c....k off back to their caves until the next 'crisis'.....plus maybe get yourself a job with one of the tabloids?
Good article i read in the Express today (plus on the website i think) where Carra is asked about the current crisis at Anfield. Carra simply points out that there is one every year. He talks about the 2 Cup defeats to Arsenal in the space of 4 days last season and the FA Cup loss to Burnley in Rafa's first year. i seem to recall it was the end of the world on both occasions then as well.
