In fairness the argument about Sunday Leagues is clouding the issue here. I think pretty much everone would accept that if N'Gog played for the Rose and Crown in the Wolverhampton and Dudley 3rd division (Northern section) Sunday league, he'd be quite good to say the least. The issue really is whether or not he will ever be a Premiership player, not the new Henri, but somebody who is decent.

My own feeling is that he won't as long as he's got a hole in his erse, but we'll see.

If he played at the standard I played at I think he'd be good. He'd be one of the top players in the league (notice how I said one of) and he'd be a good player to have.

He wouldn't however it like a Thierry Henry or Torres would. He isn't good enough Mick, he never will be. He's not a premiership player.

I'm sick of people telling me these are predictions when I say this. They aren't. They are judgements based on whats there. Its the same with Sissoko, Baros, Finnan, Carragher and the likes.

The facts are, if you take a very good Sunday or Saturday league player and played him in a professional match in the premier league, baring fitness (assuming thats not a strong point) they wouldn't completely embarress themselves. I'm not saying here they'd stand out or look good but the chances are if they have a good game they'll more than likely just look like a run of the mill player.

Anyways back to the point, i think one of the commentators just about put Ngog right, he practically said he is average at everything, but not particuarly good at anything, as in there isnt really anything in his game that is threatening at the moment. Probably a bit too early to judge now though

I think ngog has the potential of being only a decent average striker. I would say his totally shyte. He wouldnt be another henry though no way. Maybe would suit teams like westbrom etc..

I was refering the standard I'm playing at the moment. He wouldn't look out of a place on in the national cup or in a county combination.
