Jesus christ - the two things I thought Rafa shouldn't do, he's done.

Why not Riise or Warnock at left back, and when will he learn that Morientes and Crouch don't work together up front?

I'm suddenly a bit nervous.

At least Fowler's on the bench though. I honestly thought he could've been a useful sub against Chelsea, but it's hard to do that when you're 250 miles away.

He's defo breaking Robbie in gently like!!

Maybe not a bad thing i guess...its been ages since he played 90 mins and even God cannot break the laws of fitness!! :D

Seriously though only 3 points here...come on we are the red men!!!

I must admit it's hard to see the difference in impact that a fully fit Morientes will make over a partially fit Fowler though.

It's not like Moro's shown a great deal of late.

Looks like we line up like this:

               Dudek

Finnan Hyypia Carragher Traore

Cisse Sissoko Alonso Kewell

       Crouch Morientes

Subs:
Carson
Riise
Hamann
Kromkamp
Fowler

I think Cisse might get some joy tonight, Powell is not the youngest and has never been that quick. A lot of responsibity on Alonso tonight, I think he'll have a big game. Interesting that all 3 strikers start, does that mean Fowler will start againt Wigan? :p

I think Crouch playing just behind Fowler would be perfect, Crouch is good at holding and releasing the ball at just the right time. Just great for Fowler to run onto those good passes and score.
