You probably mean Lawrenson. You're probably a bit young to remember but he was an absolutely fabulous centre half. Pure class and along with Hansen, the best central-defensive partnership I have ever seen.
That said, I guess you are entitled to your opinion, such as it is.

i know this probabaly isnt right but all in all i dont care about the past, its already happened. dont get me wrong, ive got a load of respect about what they did, but did is the operative word.

its like follwoing england and all we ever hear about is how great 1966 was. well i couldnt give a monkey about 1966, i want us to win in 2006.
But id rather liverpool won the league 8 days a week!

i respect hansen and lawrenson for what they did, but i wish theyd shut up for 5 minutes

I agree Mick, without a shadow of a doubt - Lawrenson/Hansen? Simply awesome I do listen to Hansen and what he has to say, generally very knowledgable and very fair. However Lawrensons comments are somewhat scathing and generally not constructive at all

As for marklfc, he does attend many Liverpool games so he must be the epitomy for LFC knowledge and wisdom  (I think not)

Big fan of Hansen too. He talks good football sense ,especially defensive tactics, and hes obviously still in love with Lfc or he wouldnt have these wee outbursts  so I forgive him! Best defender I ever seen in a Liverpool shirt.

I like Laurro - I thought his comments about Garcia and Biscan during the live radio commentary at the LFC v Burnley FA cup match were spot on.
Hansen too is a very knowledgeable fella - one of the few pundits who i think could have made it as a full time manager. Laurro tried and failed.

Some of what Hansen said was right, and when he still refers to Liverpool as 'we' of course he still loves the club.  Carragher is our best defender and the most passionate, I wish we had a whole defence of Carraghers.
