What are you basing these views on?  He played with a strike partner in every one of the four matches I've mentioned: Crouch twice, Kuyt once and Ngog once.  As for lack of service, are you just presuming that or do you actually recall?  FFS, do all Babel supporters have an allergy to basic fact checking? ???

In any event, I've come around to this idea of playing Babel up top for a few games.  With Torres out, Keane struggling, Dirk plateauing and Ngog looking raw, it's not a terrible time to look at Babel and see what he's capable of in his preferred position.  I'm not sure I'd try it away to Arsenal but would have no qualms against the likes of Hull and Newcastle.  If he takes to it like a duck to water, I'll happily hold up my hand and say I called it wrong.  If he doesn't, it at least give us a few week respite before you Babelians start insisting he's never had a proper chance in his preferred position. :D

All the stats in world don't teach you how football is played when you on the pitch.

You are not very forgiving this is how I know you ain't with it so to speak only ex pro's know that young footballing talent needs time.

You come across as your avg He ain't scored in 5 matches sell him type of fan.

Well I'll be sure to defer to your superior footballing wisdom from here on out.  If an ex-pro thinks Babel's the dog's bollox, that'll be good enough for me.  :kungfu:

Now that's the first intelligent thing you've said for a long time

Don't tell me you're an ex-pro too?  Lord help us--it's like MOTD on here. :D

OK that's all I've been saying, give him a chance, if he's cr@p I'll be the first to admit it, but the lads got quality just needs a bit more composure and I agree he needs to be a bit smarter with his passing etc.

Mind you he has had joy vrs arsenal in past so might be ok bob.  :)

But nice to see my consistent drilling of this matter has worked with some success . LMAO  :wwww

Also i like to add few games as striker won't prove to me if he is good or not but I hope it can spur him on to greating things from it.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't get him to drink it.
Unless you use a straw.

Petar, this is a forum, its a place for opinions.  Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they are "wrong".

to be fair, Stu isnt as bad as he is being made out to be. he has always been constant, stuck to his points and defended them. he isnt fickle. he is pretty aggressive with words. but he is a good poster nonetheless.

Well I ment game intellengence like a you was making out babel doesn't have like picking a pass you can't have it both ways ?

Rush and Owen did have striker intellegence but not game.

Babel shows when he gets a clear cut chance he finishes it off more then keane has ever shown.
