A point isn't a bad result at all but a bit frustrating how we ended the game after playing well for the first 60 mins or so. Looked like we just ran out of steam and lacked quality on the bench to make an impact.

Babel and Ngog are just so poor it's untrue and El Zhar, whilst promising, is still a bit raw and liable to loose his composure at times. We just lack the players to come off the bench and influence the game enough agaist a decent Arsenal side.

All that said, it wasn't a bad performance and a decent point.

I think they did Mick, they just lack a cutting edge. It's been one of the problems all season.

We should have played with 2 up when Adebayor got sent off though.

You don´t need two strikers to play in more attacking role.
It´s a shame to be so conservative with one more player than Arsenal. I think the players had and have fear to win. Playin so slowly when you need to score. Feckin losers.

Bav, mate, I tend to agree if we were swamping their penalty area and they defended with their lives.

Arsenal lost their midfield general and had Adebayor sent off. But they outpassed us time and again with better build-ups in our half and we instead played with an extra man but like we were so scared of conceding...waiting for Arsenal to come at us.

To leave yourself open against Arsenal at their's is potential suicide. Everyone knows they can string passes together in a matter of seconds and kill you dead. People will inevitably call the tactics here negative once again, but as United and Chelsea found out...

i agree. their players are really fast and skillful. i dont think protecting the point we have is a negative thing cause they really can rip any team apart on their day.

Yes, we lack a consistent cutting edge. Such a waste, as this season so far, Chelski and Manure kept dropping points.

I just wonder how long this will go on, especially with Manure who play a more expansive and attacking game than Chelski.
