Andy Robertson - Official Thread

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I think Moreno isn't far off being fit again so with any luck Andy has done enough to hold on to the starting berth. City at the weekend could be a defining factor in whether he does or not.

Robertson as first choice left back and Moreno /milner as back up in that position.
I don't think we are short in this position.

Both arent good enough. 20 year old CB Gomez is probably the best fullback we have at the club, and he isnt free from the odd mistake.

People make mistakes.. That's the disadvantage of being a human.

Moreno makes them repeatedly though :(

No clue mate ,Robbo is a great fullback ,he has pace he is tough and aggressive ,he can whip a wicked pass ,he is the complete package, hardly makes mental mistakes like Gomez and God forbid Moreno..No idea what you have been watching.

I think the biggest difference between Moreno and Robertson is that Moreno is sh'ite and Robertson isnt

I'd play him ahead of the world's best LB Moreno.

Thought the lad was epic today. Never gave Sterling a sniff the whole game, and his pressing /closing down was brilliant.

Definitely stamped his authority on the left back position, permanently.

Top stuff :)

I've praised him a lot but having watched the highlights he's culpable for thier second goal. He's looks at Silva 3 times and still gets sucked towards the ball.

Hopefully VVD comes in and organises this lot cos they're in dying need of a general.

Raheem Sterling is still finding his way out of Robbo's pocket

I thought he wasn't good enough at the beginning, but last night I saw a side that I've never seen from him before.

Long it may continue
