Well alot of knee jerk reactions on here about the lad over 1 long pass and a volly that almost got us pen ??? Understandble I guess but with all the abuse some of us have had over questioning Rafa after 4 losses in row its a little Ironic to say the least. :D

But I Think we should let him get match fit first before jumping the gun this guy has bucket loads of tallent thats for sure but can he stay fit that is the question.

On the bench at the weekend, then? Hopefully Steve will be back too. Things are looking a bit more positive.

Indeed. 10 days ago we had lost four out of four, now we've lost five out of six. The futures so bright you've gotta wear shades :D.

I thought he looked great and cannot wait to see him play again. If he is that kind of player there is no doubt he will help us a great deal and will definitely be the answer to breaking down defensive sides, him and Masch in the middle will be unbeatable if they play to their abilities. On one of his first touches he stumbled as he recieved the ball and could easily have fallen over but as he stumbled he gave a neat little pass into the box which showed a quick mind, you are born with that. Far more mobile than  Alonso, great to see.

Yeah but wins over the mancs count double, treble, quadruple, lots more than ordinary wins.

It certainly was a good debut, just have to hope there is even more to come and most importantly he stays fit and injury free. Will he solve our problems? Who knows?

Bit dissapointed that Rafa didnt play him against Lyon   I saw Voronin coming off and i was like YES HERE COMES AQUAMAN only to see the baldy head of Babel.

Ah well he might get a start against Birmingham

He'd better be close to starting soon, normally players get 10-15 mins off the bench if they're working their way back to fitness. Might be slightly more difficult at the moment with so many "must wins" not being won

Very encouraging signs. The more I see, the more I want to see.

I think hes better than Alonso, Zidane and Kaka put together
:nod

He has done more for the team in 15mins than some other players have done in 90!

He has class but I hope his fitness holds up better than his team mates.

What a pity.....we are out of the title race and champions league  before this guy kicked a ball for us. :(

It was always a risk but then again we have had so many other injuries this year. Riera has been a big loss for us too.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.
