Aquilani is no longer with us and will never play for us again - nothing we can do about it .

Shambles it is...

Well, as long as we got the money back, right.....?

Pulsen and Konchesky are so underwhelming it's unbelievable.

Rafa bought players that made you believe and hope, like Torres, Alonso, Masch world class players. And Roy bring in **** that would do alright for Fulham, West Ham and Birmingham... :(

Is it the fact that so much money was spent on him? Is it because he came in as a replacement for Alonso but couldn't fill his boots? (Hard boots to fill with Alonso being one of the best mids in the world)

Aqua has had alot of bad injuries and came to Liverpool injured. He was very cautious with his play when he returned which was understandable, and Rafa didn't give him enough games to get over his injuries mentally.

You cannot question his touch, or passing ability because its top notch. Joe Cole has come in with the exact same qualities and played even worse then Aqua did last season yet Joe Cole is amazing to you guys.

Get that horseshoe out of your asses and support Aquaman, because we can't create f*ck all without him.

absolutely spot on pal. Nice to have someone with some brains posting its been awhile.

ferguson couldn't have destroyed this club better than that fool benitez.

Well said and spot on, and I just hope that some of LFC fans can finally accept this painful fact, and that is the main reason why we are in bottom of the league due to destroying methods Benitez had applied on our club, I would love to see him be in charge of the team at this present time had he stayed, just to see his true colours!!

Yes - he also bought players like Lucas, Gonzales, Ngog and plenty more... how quickly we forget!
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

We were far better managed than we currently are - and as for Aquilani - the games he played proved he was good enough .

ye there as not as good as the koncheskys and poulsens that you highly rate are they. And u would waste 30 million on kevin doyle and roger johnson. You really are one to judge.

Well only a fool would dispute that based on what we've seen so far, and I aren't one of those. It's a bit like Roy saying the performace against Everton was the best since he's been here though, (it probably was BTW) but it doesn't say much for the other matches does it?

Saying we were managed better when we weren't second bottom is hardly a ringing endorcement, neither is your constant "but have we moved forwards" question.

The simple fact of the matter is we were plumetting with benitez, and so far Hodgson is speeding up the process. The answer though isn't hark back to the guy who took you into the tailspin in the first place, it's to seek a solution.

that's exactly the point.

Roy's catastrophic start to the season has seen the praise for our previoulsy failed manager go into overdrive.
