Not a chance. If Gerrard leaves Liverpool we still have a few talented players left in the squad.

If Rooney leaves Everton they will have no quality left....50 million or not

The only hope that the bluenoses have is to bring in investment and their only way is to keep Rooney. There is no other reason for the big bucks to go there.
If they sell him get your money on NOW for relegation.

In the mean time - Joey Barton's gone to Charlton on £25K a week. Now he was one of Gerrard's request to the board, he wanted Joey behind him in a new look Liverpool midfield and Parry had given in impression they had agreed.

They would need to sell Wayne rooney, Steven Gerrard, and get a thai and building magnate to invest just to stop them getting relegated next year.
