Rubicon seems like it's going to be something different and interesting. And The Walking Dead looks like it could be the best thing on TV when it airs in October.

Im gonna go out on a limb and state that there is a high probability that is the single greatest movie ever made, bar none.

Also I believe I read a stat that said Eric Roberts now stars in approx 72% of movies made every year worldwide. He is the real life incarnation of Troy McClure.

People with time on their hands and too much money, although obviously not enough as it looks :censored::D Some fanboy geeks probably came up with it.  :D

In all seriousness its becasue the Science Fiction channel in the states has started to develop alot of its own programming and TV movies and they dont exactly have a budget to rival Inception.

Coincidentally (coincidentally as in "how I know the stuff I typed above) the guys over at Cracked.com just yesterday gave a more humourous description of just what the hell is up with the now renamed "SYFI Channel" over here

Boardwalk Empire premiers on HBO in September.  A series about 1920's gangsters from Martin Scorsese.  Steve Buscemi is playing the lead character who is a politician / Gangster.  All based on true stories (with alot of leeway I'd imagine)  real characters, Rothstien,Capone, Luciano etc.  I can't wait for this series to start.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

the 2nd one is even better. Shame they've only made 3, but it's a great idea. Can't wait until the last of the series next sunday  :)

Yeah 7K really enjoyed the second episode of Sherlock, definately better then the first.
Hopefully it will become like Jonathan Creek and return on a regular special basis

Also watched the Deep which I was looking forward to though characters and actings left for me a lot to be desired.

However there is enough eye candy and im a sucker for those Abyss/Deep Star six/Leviathan type situations to have me downloading the second ep

If you like documentaries How the Universe Works on Discovery Channel 21:00 Mondays is a new series about cosmology fully maximising state of the art CGI for Hi Def with a fantastic accompanying score. Its like someone showed the head of Dreamworks a Carl Sagan betamax cassette and they went for it and damn the expense. If you one of the few that likes to have a little toke every now and again Im sure it would be to your liking :D  Personally I just love documentries but anything about the workings of the universe I totally geek out for.
