end of play at day 1 Pakistan 244-6........good recovery from the England lads and with virtually only the tail left,i would think they would be looking to bat sometime just after lunch tomorrow.

I reckon its gonna be a series of low batting scores(no s.hit sherlock) vaughan playing would've added a little more steel to the batting line-up and as a result the packistani score would be in our favour. However a 300 could put us in a difficult position.

be honest with you Neil even if Pakistan get around 300 / 320.....i still feel especially as collingwood is no  mug with the bat,we can still get a decent total on that very flat pitch.Vaughan has only played one decent innings in about 10 tests,so based on that our batting isnt losing that much.

well we should win this now, hopefully put about 450 / 500 on and then try to bowl them out cheaply or if not only have about 100 to get on the last day with the bat.

England need 198 to win, half an hour play left today so if we can keep our wickets tonight,we should have this wrapped up mid afternoon tomorrow. :)

England should have won that, disappointing result after such a big first inning lead.

Well it looks as though this will be one sries we wont win.Pakistan well on top and will soon be over 300 with only 4 wickets down.We will be lucky to draw this test at this rate let alone win it.
