Enjoying the current "day" but don't think it's been as gripping as previous ones.

Maybe Tony is still playing both sides because he knows how deep these guys go? What a twist though.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

I watched the finale last night -wish i hadnt absolute p.i.s.h!
pure frustration from day 1 , hated this series , no devasting action scenes ,the almeida chopping and changing fiasco , yawnnnn lol   Jack Flower- lets the innocent die risking their necks to get to the main terrorist, then when they FINALLY get there he save him   confused!!!

dunno about this latest season.
Seemed different, but maybe because I was watching it weekly, not getting the boxset and watching it in chunks.

I did enjoy it though although there were too many main characters so not enough time.
Gives a great precursor to day 8 though

And Chloe rocks still

I liked it. Thought it WAS different, thats why i liked it.....

When Rene Walker entered that room with Wilson nearthe end - i couldn't help thinking about when Blackadder had Baldrick by the throat and held up a pencil to his face, threatening that "5 minutes with me...and this pencil would be a damn sight worse than spending an eternity with Beelzeebub and all his hellish instruments of death"   :D  Or words very similar to that effect - its been such a long time...it was funny and reminded me of that sketch.

In all, i enjoyed Day 7. I just hope we dont have to wait another 12 months to see Day 8!

Gotta go with Mikz on this one. Compared to other "days"  found this one to be a bit of a wet bank holiday. Glad to have had it but could have been better.

Season 8 starts 17th Jan 2010 in the States so it will be the 24th Jan over here.
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

24 will return in 2010 for a two-night premiere on Sunday, January 17  and Monday, January 18 before it continues on Mondays for the rest of its run. It premieres in the UK on Sky One on Januray 24.

Set 8 months after season 7, season 8 begins and ends at 4:00 PM, unfolding in New York City amidst the shadows of the Statue of Liberty and the United Nations where CTU has been upgraded and is run by the MBA-schooled Brian Hastings (Mykelti Williamson). Cole Ortiz (Freddie Prinze Jr.), a former Marine who wants to follow in Jack Bauer’s footsteps, runs the division’s Field Operations. Expert data analyst Dana Walsh (Katee Sackhoff) collaborates with systems analyst & drone pilot Arlo Glass inside CTU's New York branch. Rob Weiss serves as President Allison Taylor’s new Chief of Staff, and Meredith Reed is an ambitious journalist with ties to the unfolding situation. Jack Bauer is simply a man who wants to move on with his life and be with his daughter and granddaughter, but plans come to a halt when, once again, America needs his help.

Watched the first four hours of "day 8" last night.

Great to see Jack back but in truth sadly there's absolutely nothing new here apart from the New York location.

We're immediately plunged into the world of high level political negotions between the USA and a "Middle East" nation whilst in the background unidentified "agents" are bent on derailing said process and all the time CTU one of the US' most important national security agencies are continuing to employ personnel with dodgy personal histories. I mean it's almost as if CTU don't bother to run a check on the people they offer jobs too.

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying it BUT I also enjoy hamburgers, and when you've had one hamburger you pretty much know what the next is gonna taste like, I can only hope that maybe they'll surprise me and somehow revitalise my appetite.

I watched it. good, but a bit like woof, same sh.t different day. its like jack thinks one thing, nobody believes him, so guess what - jacks right. happens every single time, aftyer 7 /8 / 9 times of Jack being right when nobody else believes him, you might think the head of CTU, however obnoxious, would listen to him. But no. Its 24, so nobody beieves Jack, and he's on his own. again.
