I don't watch 24, but my wife loves it so we've got the first four series on DVD. I noticed all the discs are rated 15 except one which is an 18 (someone being tortured while hung naked by his feet, I'm told).

My question is about a family we're friends with and my wife is lending the DVD's to. They said their 5 year-old is addicted to watching the DVD's. Is it just me or is that a little young to be watching 24? What do you think? Am I ridiculously old fashioned?

its probably just the action and sounds that the kid likes. i dont think the thought processes of a 5 yr old can work out what jack bauer is up to.

Id say though that the kid is just a bit young to be watching 24, whch has some pertty hardocre scenes in it

he probably no choice in the matter,since i have bought series' 1-4 -nothing else has been put into the dvd player. But Id definately put the nipper to bed , so i could watch it in peace more than anything. :lookaround

Watched episode 5 of Season 5 last night. I'll do 6 and 7 tonight if I get time. Think I'm having a few beers tonight with the lads. I don't really want to go, but lets face it, I have no willpower.

Still the best show in the world.

Just watched Episode 15 from Season 5 - Episode 13 is still the best of the Season so far, but that isn't far behind it! Jack's in top form! :bowdown

Righty-ho, I've downloaded Series 5 episodes 11 - 15 this morning and I'm about to watch them all now on the bounce.

This episode 13 better live up to it's previous billing on here.

Was the one on SKY last night Episode 16? if so, that should be available for download shouldn't it?

Johnny, FOX in the US is up to Episode 15 - Sky is behind, but I'm not sure how many it is.
