Sweden almost scored Kallstrom had a great shot on goal but was turned over. We were linked with Kallstrom around three years ago, I was hoping at the time we'd sign him. I'm hoping Sweden and Paraguay will draw tonite, it will have catastrophic implications on Sweden and will probably add more pressure on them, therefore England maybe able to get another win under their belts.

Sweden have had much of the posession and shots, but they can't seem score and haven't won since october.

Imbrahimovic is a dire player, he's had a few simple chances to put Sweden 1-0 up and he's been poor infront of goal, what do some ppl actually see in him?

Swden won 1-0, Ljungberg scored an 88th minute winner. Heat is now on for who finish's second.

I dont know how you can call ibrahimovic dire? the only thing that lets him down sometimes is his composure and finishing in front of goal. He has great technique, touch, awareness, flair, powerful shot, dribbling, hes not slow either and i think sweden are not the same side without him in the team. Quality player IMO.

All of that is no good without an end product though ain't it.

Thats a good point but a striker has more jobs than putting the ball in the net. For one thing he needs the movement to get into the goal scoring opportunities and half the times i have seen him play he has got into the positions through his sheer ability to dribble. Just because he is not the worlds best finisher it does not make him a dire player. He stands out in a fairly good sweden team by miles, when hes on the pitch for them they create way more chances thorugh his and larssons good link up play.

The ref is going mad with the red cards in the Italy - USA game, two red cards in the first half. Decent game to watch though, USA surprisingly on top, there could be a surprise here.

Eddie Pope now sent off for 2 yellow cards just 1 minute into the second half. Now USA with 9 men and Italy with 10 :O

The game finished 1-1

da marcus beasley denied a winning goal with 15 mins remaining because Brian McBride was deemed to have been active in the assistant's view.

Both teams had chances but I think the result was right. Isn't that group interesting now.

Well saudi arabia are doing rather poorly against ukraine, 3-0 down now, they shouldnt have taunted ukraine about not being a good side.

Rebrov scored a cracker, well yes Saudi Arabia did start off very arrogantly and now they are pretty much out of the World Cup, I expect them to get a good hiding from Spain.

Mnari had the shot, it was saved and Mnari converted on the rebound.

Spain vs Tunisia

1-0 to Tunisia, poor defending by Spain, especially Puyol. :D

Still plenty of time left for Spain to fight back. :;):
