Rafa Benitez's agent insists that he is 100 per cent certain the Spaniard will stay at Inter Milan, despite speculation he could leave the club.

The former Liverpool boss has endured a tricky start to his tenure at the San Siro and recent reports suggest his days with the Nerazzurri are numbered.

Benitez has come out with a 'back me or sack me' claim, although president Massimo Moratti has remained quiet on whether there will be money to spend in the January transfer window.

Benitez's agent Emanuel Garcia Quilon says that he is fully committed to Inter and quashed talk of an exit following a win in the Club World Cup.

He told Radio Sportiva: "Benitez will stay at Inter Milan at 100 per cent. I spoke with him last night (on Friday) and he told me that he is celebrating the victory with his family."

Inter now have a winter break following their exertions in the Club World Cup and next take to the field against Napoli in January

They're gonna sack a guy that has won 2 trophies in about 5 months and has them back in the CL last 16.  yeah they're not doing so great in the league but they have lots of players injured.  If they strengthen in january, they'll move up the table and still have lots to play for.

Maybe they might sack him cos the inter fans don't like him?  The same fans that pelted Roy hodgson with Missiles after they got beat in the final of a European competition.

So yes, i don't think they have much class.

Congrats Rafa.

Bring him home John Henry !!!!

I ask this seriously, why exactly are you so captivated by Benitez? Have you ever met the man? I'm genuinely intrigued as to what it is exactly that has you so besotted with Rafa.

Of course you are well within your rights to like or dislike whoever you please, but you're absolutely obsessed with the man. Yeah he seems like a pretty decent guy, and he also seemed to genuinely care about the fans and club, but you carry on like he cured cancer and brought an end to world poverty.

He got us, from his first press conference to his latest one, he fought for us and exposed twit & tw@t, exposed Fergie and the refs up their holes, he won us the CL for keeps & The FA Cup, he got us the most points ever in the league, if it hadnt have been for the Gerrard saga I believe we would have won it.

He donated a lot of his pay of to various merseyside charities, and him and his wife done an awful lot behind the scenes for the local community and local charities.

His wife is a very humble woman and a lady.

I appreciate everything this man done for us, he was the best manager we had since Kenny its a shame he didnt win us the league, but he made me happy and gave us some of the best nights of our lives.

My girlfriends daughter has less fond memories of Montse.
She used to clean out the stables for her Rafa's kids horses and was paid about £10 for it.
Montse stopped paying her because she was lucky to be doing such a job apparantly.
My girl kicked off and told her she wasnt doing it anymore.

His recent comments in the press don't stand up. He complains about lack of investment (or at least gives an ultimatum for transfer money) yet he has inherited a double winning squad! Makes no sense.

Italian press reckon his days are numbered. He clearly wants out also. Whether he just wants severance pay or is sniffing around here hoping to take advantage of a possible Hodgson departure?

An ageing an injury prone side and they sold their attacking wildcard and you still wouldn't have brought anyone else in? If anything they should have been strengthening anyway as a pre emptive measure given how old they are.

Would love him back here personally. Get rid of the shyte excuse for a manager we have now.

Sorry but if Hodgson had inherited a double winning side then had the same start as Benitez has at Inter, you would crucify him.

Your comments are so biased you lose all credibility.

What the club world cup championship against a very very poor african team?

Why do they need to strengthen? its the same squad that won the treble last season, and not many teams in the Seria A even improved.

Then again, we sound like hypocrites because we are calling Inter fans classless and should give Benitez time, while we are calling for the manager's head in our own club and doesn't deserve to be given any chance what so ever.

bunch of hypocrites, just got really tired of this.

What a load of wan.k mate. Firstly they already had last season a very old squad, old and injury prone. And they sold Balotelli. And you say other teams haven't strengthened that much? Have you even looked at Juve or Milan? Milan's front line is completely revamped.

I'm tired also. Tired of seeing us drop points in the same manner week after week, tired of seeing Roy make a fool of himself and the club every time he opens his mouth, but most of all tired of seeing those who sought to oust Rafa last season get on his back so much this season when they should just fess up it was the wrong move to get rid of him.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

You know AC Milan's has the oldest squad in Seria A, they got Ibrahamovic, who is nothing compared to Etoo at Inter.

Who did Juve get? Krasic and Aquilani who are considered to be good players, but they aren't doing well either because they aren't good enough, they even sold Diego.

Inter don't have a very old squad, they have a fantastic squad, FFS they won the treble last season, and now they have some young players coming in like Coutinho. You just can't admit that Benitez is f*cking up at Inter! He is BIG TIME, but you can't admit to it, neither can Benitez himself.

I'm getting sick and tired of this :censored:.

Agree about Roy, but we should discuss that in the Roy thread

I don't think NESV could work with him I don't think Rafa could work within the NESV environment. I'd be amazed if they went for him, and literally stunned to see it work.

Rafa should be given more time at Inter, but he won't because he's now slagging off the directors to the press. The guy's his own worst enem and there's no way our owners would want him back here airing our dirty washing in public every time he doesn't get his way in the boardroom.
