Mourinho - Would he replace kenny in the summer?

International Football/Football World Wide - General Discussion

can't say I'd enjoy the idea of Maureen at Liverpool. I feel like the identity of our cklub would be ripped apart to be turned into the Jose Mourinho show. That's generally what he does, and he goes about it like a spoilt child. I wouldn't want this club's name associated with some of the behaviour he and his previous clubs have indulged in

He has his charms though. Hiding in the laundry to get smuggled into the dressing room...hilarious.

If he was available in the summer, should the owners move Kenny on and get Jose in?

1. Maybe if last year you'd asked "Should Mourinho replace Hodgson you might have got a positive response but asking if he should replace a Liverpool icon who's only a year back in the job smacks of a total lack of understanding and affinity with LFC's soul.

2. Fu'ck off.

Even at Porto he spent a lot compared to the clubs around him, and whilst he may not have the near unlimited funds he has now if he were to manage us I still think he brings a sense of togetherness within the dressing room, a will to win. It's a tough one but if he got the job here I wouldn't moan.

He needs money to win - simple as that.

maureen is a circus and the english media love him to bits so he will return to the prem someday but im not so sure whether i would like him here.
there is no doubting his credentials but cant say the same for his character.
id say manure is his ideal job and the one he really wants over us.
anyway dalglish deserves his shot and should be given till the end of next season to see where he takes us.

Notwithstanding the undoubted success he's had with other clubs I don't think he's ever likely to be the right match for us because the fans have never taken to him. To appoint him, I think, would be to go against the gut insticts of most Liverpool fans who like their managers to have a bit of class, something Mourinho has always been seen to lack.

I reckon hes already got his next job lined up and thats taking over from Ferguson.

His Madrid contract ends in 2014 at which point hes always said he will return to England and putting 2 & 2 together thats very convenient for the Mancs with misery guts finally doing one around that time.
