Luis Suarez signs for Barcelona

FA have sh!t themselves, mention racism and everyone walks on eggshells. For no reason at all people are soooo paranoid that they arent seen to be doing enough that proof, common sense and justice are thrown out of the window. We must appeal, our Club anthem is not some passing statement or a plastic flag it means something and if we truly believe in Luis then it's our duty to stand by him. We need to push through all availiable avenues, past players and media partners , that Evra has admitted vile abuse and must be charged, and use legal means to prove that Luis is being persecuted and treated unjustly, as racist behaviour needs to have intent, and without it he does not have a case to answer. The lads honesty and naievity has gone against him, he could have just said I didn't say anything.

Thought the club statement was a poor choice of words to be honest, they might as well have put how Suarez celebrates with Glen Johnson after every goal celebration, cringe. We should just get Suarez to issue a public apology to Evra and say there was a cultural misunderstanding and that he meant no offence in terms of race/colour, im sure most reasonable people would understand that, plus that would take him out of the headlines and put the focus back on the Terry case. Ill be watching very closely now to see what happens to John Terry, if similar action isnt taken ill be furious.

If Terry walks away without a charge I will, like Dawson, give up on football. I will always love Liverpool, but I will give up on the sport altogether, because if this happens, then it will prove without a doubt, that this game is corrupt right across the world. The decision made regarding Suarez is an absolute joke, no way is this punishment justified. The statement the club released was perfect, and I can only guess it was because of the supporters committee.

This game I used to love, I used to enjoy, is being taken from me. I am sick of seeing my club constantly being screwed over. I am sick of seeing Gerrard being used as a defensive midfielder or a left midfielder to make space for the waste of space Frank Lampard for England. I am sick of seeing class players like Fowler and Carragher, two of the best players we have produced being overlooked for mediocrity. I am sick of seeing Alex Ferguson influencing every decision the FA makes, I am tired of this entire game.

I am at my edge football wise, I am tired of it. This latest farce regarding Suarez has pushed me right to the edge, the way I look at it is like this, football has become so corrupt, so money orientated, that as an individual regarding myself, it doesnt matter, but many more people will feel the way I do, and people like Dawson, its not a level playing field anymore.

I dont know whether its me or other people missing the point?
Suarez has admitted to using the word negrito
The charge, as I understand it it using a word which Evra found offensive when Suarez said it to him  breaking rule e3 (1). Because it reffered to Evras colour it was against FA rule e3 (2) and Suarez has been convicted of this and suspended for 8 games pending an appeal.
He is not being called a racist, which Evra confirms. He is guilty of using an offensive term. The question is was it meant to be offensive or has Evra chosen to take it that way?  That will be the argument in my opinion

Fight this all the way.  Make the FA (Fergie's Assistants) squirm over these joke charges!  Win the PR battle which doesn't mean accepting it.

too angry to type out proper sentences, pls tolerate me.

1) terry caught on video making racist remarks, no charge by FA yet
2) saw on soccernet, maybe FA should look into itself, where there is no ethnic minorities on their board and few if any topflight refs
3) we must stand by the player no matter what

adding to that, we may make racist comment here now and there, but it doesnt make us racist. it is more of a stereotype than racist.

These things often get reduced at appeal. 8 matches seems harsh, so worth the appeal for me.

Some good points there, especially this one:

The English FA have now left themselves open to the same accusation of cynicism. What Suarez is alleged to have done is wrong. To draw attention to the colour of someone's skin in a manner that could be construed as pejorative is not acceptable in our reality.

There is a clear case for punishment as part of a process of education. But the eight-game ban would seem to go much further. It smacks of the FA seizing on a chance to score a political point. Were they really judging a case, or are they more interested in landing a glove on Sepp Blatter?

Whatever non Liverpool supporters think, the reasonable people can smell something pretty bad from the FA with regards to this punishment.

It's a good quote that. 8 matches is too long.

There is zero evidence that Suarez was deflamatory... he even stated what he said himself. He could easily have denied saying anything and there aint a thing anyone could have done... but he did so because he was truthful in what he said. Evra has previous as a lying, devious runt.. the 4 match ban for lying about a Chelsea groudsman in 2008... he also accused a ref of giving him a yellow "because im black". To take his word over someone who has stated exactly what he said is despicable.

The little englander FA are a corrupt, contemptible organisation. Rooney has been swearing blind since he made his debut, and only recently the corrupt FA sent a glowing tribute on the thugs behalf to get a ban reduced following him putting the boot through a defenders backside. Alan Shearer booted Neil Lennon in the face prior to World Cup 1998 and little englander FA did nothing. No wonder everyone in FIFA despises this corrupt, bigoted little organisation... "prince" william, beckham, cameron and co were rightly sent packing

Doesnt matter what happens now, even if we win the appeal, Suarez name in the English game is dirt, he will be booed without reason every single game, expect a departure very soon, i'm furious about this.  By doing what the FA have done they have effectively told Suarez to make a transfer request....FCUKICUNG KUNTS

Like every Liverpool fan, I love Suarez and is concerned the ban will stay despite an appeal as he has been our most important attacking player since his arrival. However, I don't like to say this, but to be impartial, Suarez's behaviour on the pitch does have room for improvement. Many times he would kick the water botlle on exiting from the pitch after being subbed. This kind of behaviour was not only immature but showing disrespect to the manager's decision. He would clapped his hands sarcastically to the linesman who flagged him offside and was booked for doing so in that disasterous Spurs game (fortunately he doesn't do this anymore). He  indulges in play acting a lot whenever he was fouled. And recently, the one finger to the Fulham fans.

But based on what we know so far, I agree with Liverpool's statement that the verdict was based on one man's words is bl**dy ridiculous. This FA is biased and influenced by the scum and as corrupt as FIFA.

All these news further pin point my urge to LFC to buy another striker. Before this post, it was to partner Suarez, this post it is to take over Suarez's role in his absence. This is a more urgent reason to get that quality striker now this has happened. We cannot depend on Bellers and Kuyt too much as they are not prolific enough and A.C. is still struggling. A quality striker has to come in to fill that void for a club wanting to finish in top 4.

I've been impressed by R.Soldaldo of Valencia, he reminds me a lot of Torres in his heyday and will be absolutely delighted if he can come in January.
