2 thing's ruined fowler's career - injuries and houllier. he was an awesome player at his best. better than owen in my opinion.

Of course you would take Robbie. But then at the time of selling Fowler we all had a higher opinion of Heskey (which has since changed considerably) I still believe 11mill was good money for a player who has done very little since leaving the club. I know injuries have played a big part but i also get the impression that RF does not look after himself or apply himself the way a professional should. He has looked overweight for a long time now. He has a bigger a#se than my missis!

11m p#ssed away on more rubbish at least Robbie was a proven scorer.  Heskey missed two good opportunities against portsmouth I bet fowler would have finished them.  Robbie got injured Houllier sold him because he fell out with big nose and Robbie has been destroyed ever since.  Those who think Robbie is finished. wanna bet!

Weight gain is very often a sign of depressive disorder which that french ba#ta#d has obvioulsy give Robbie fowler who loves liverpool more than that dickhead ever will.  We used to have a tradition of looking after ours where to f##k has that gone? out the f##king window with a french mercenary who dosent give two shits for what liverpool represents, Loyality, Honesty, commitment and fidelity.

I think it was WIdle who said "Them that do, do,  them that don't teach" I wish Houliier would p#ss off and teach again because what he knows about football is even less that our own beloved Stu.

Jari Litmanen for me. Great player. Under the right manager could have been a red legend in my book. One of the best ' in the hole '
attackers there's been.

brad friedel has, in my opinion, got a lot better and is one of the best Keepers in the League

yup, gotta be litmanen - totally wasted by houllier for some completely inexplicable reason. we had a couple of seasons under houllier when we had no width whatsoever and other sides had got used to dealing with owen's pace and we struggled to break teams down particularly if they went a goal up. what we needed was a bit of flair and invention to open up other defences and litmanen for me was the obvious candidate to give us that something different but oh no, GH persisted with his system until the bitter end  :no

fowler's fall from grace was perhaps even more spectacular but i don't think that could be blamed entirely on GH so i'm sticking with jari

Don't think Litmanens "career" was ruined by GH , the fella was brilliant for us but he had already reached his peak .
For me it was Fowler . Robbie had it all and the world at his feet , what he didn't have was a manager who cared enough to look after the lad .
