i would say  the dutch team of 74 with cryuff neeskens etc but i agree with Phil about 78 argentina being the best -It was my first and THE ATMOSPHERE was like  :wwww Kempes Luque Bertoni , whispers of match rigging it had the lot and i dont think there will ever be one like it.

Wasn't that the one were the Argies put the fix in ? They had to beat Peru by four goals (to progress )and suprise suprise they scored six against a peruvian goalie who was born in Argentina .

Holland '74 .superb side  ,deserved to be world champs.

Spot on drummerphil - Boniek pure class - played in Juve with Platini (great striker duo) and later on - Roma.
Lato was a Golden Boot winner at this WC.
Another great player was Kazimierz Deyna back then.
I'd say these were the 3 top Polish players of all time :buttrock
FFS, why wasn't I born then to wittnes such glory for Polish team ???

yeah pablo, its a shame you were born from a back street fumble some 9mths before, and your still looking for dad in the seedy night life of lodz  :p   :D , you woulda liked watching the classic teams  :D
