There's a big difference between Disappointment and either Sadness or Joy as we all know too well...
If losing on penalties made you genuinely sad then this game's gonna be the end of you so why put yourself through it?
I prefer to be philosophical and as soon as that last pen goes shooting off into row z, start thinking about the next game and how we're gonna go about winning that one....!!! :veryangry

I still get tears in my eyes everytime I watch Stevie G lift number 5 above his head. I was just watching it then and more than a year on I never fail to get a lump in my throat and have tears in my eyes. Same with the YNWA after the Chelsea semi-final which I have on my PC.

What a few weeks they were!

I cried when watching roy evans press confrence when he left, i cried in istanbul, i cried over hillsborough, i cried when kenny left, i cried when shankly and paisley and emlyn hughes died, and i sobbed my eyes out when we bought traore. i guess im just a big crier.

I was watching 'Love Island' the other night - have managed to become somewhat addicted whilst never actually intending to go there!!

Shane Lynch (of Boyzone fame and who seems like a nice guy) said to Lee who was crying over Colleen:

"........let it all out.....You're not a man until you've cried in front of your friends......"

So there we have it!

And for once I'm happy to let a man have the last word.

I quite liked Boyzone, although no one in particular, like Westlife now esp. Nicky Byrne.

It is a fact. And mounting evidence continues to support it.

Actually, I've missed a lot and tonight Shane doesn't appear to be there anymore.

Anyway, the principle is the same, be prepared to cry and you have my respect.
