Liverpool Football Club - Games

Brilliant second half from us..Milner and clyne were awesome ...

Feel a bit sorry for swansea , they played really well and that Leroy Fer looks a real gem

But Karius  :no  he got away with it today

Positives - We fought back and came away with a win. Great performance by Firminho, Coutinho and Milner.

Negatives - Karius looks bog average and Sturridge's performance was very worrying. Lallana injury is just p.oo

Either way we played much, much better in the 2nd half and we keep climbing!  :buttrock

Good win. First half was scary, but second we were clearly the dominant team and deserved the win. In the past few years, we never came back from games that we conceded first. We'd lose or draw almost every time, so the fact that we came back from this one and deservedly won will keep our momentum moving in the right direction. These are the tough games we need to win to keep our hopes high.

Karius was awful. I was surprised that he went straight into the team because Mignolet has been playing significantly better, but if this is what we can expect from Karius then I'll have Mingy back...

Firmino was my MOTM. Not only did he score and get the pen, but he was defensively stellar. Constant pressing caused them a lot of problems. Coutinho was similar defensively- He wasn't great offensively but his defensive game was very good today.

We truly won a well fought match, which we haven't seen in a looooooong time.
2nd half was like watching the Phoenix rise!

We'll take it. You can't blow teams away every week and sometimes you just need to get over the line. 1-0 down away and not at our best - I'll take a 2-1 win any day.

Karius hasn't settled and more worryingly the centre backs failed to properly deal with numerous speculative crosses which on another day could have cost us 2 or 3 goals. Very poor.

A west brom or a palace would've buried us today defending crosses like that.

Anyway, 3 points and we're in good shape going into the international break.

Our Left Back is now our top scorer in the Premier League, with 4 goals.

It's great we're getting the calls to get penalties.. 4 in 7 games is great.

We ground the result out today and it's been a long, long time since we've been able to do that when we're off our game.

A few of the lads didn't really turn up today and Karius needs to improve his concentration if he's to establish himself as our number in the sticks.

Thought Milner was brilliant mind.

Lucky, very lucky.

LFC under big pressure, our midfield was unable to dominate and Hendo was the invisible man.....

Put the points in the bag and lets hope it was a one off.

Sometime you have to win ugly and luck has to play on your side. These are usually typical fixtures that we lose. Fantastic 3 points from us.

Don't know what Kloppo said at half time but he has to take a lot of credit for this one. Cracking result against a team that are clearly hurting.

First half we were poor but second half we came back and dominated.
We can't have perfect wins all the time, these sort of games will happen. More points in the bag.

Ugly away win still means 16 points from 7 games with several home games up our sleeves

There will be days and matches like these, where we need to grind out a narrow, ugly win...we all recognised this, so why all the negativity? I see this as a confidence boost for the lads, and knowing that at time of adversity, we can still come home with a result, some called it "the winning mentality""

The defensive lapse and defending high balls inside our penalty area? Trust Klopp to sort it our asap before we get done by team such as Palace, West Ham and the rest
