Not sure if there is a Tennis thread here I couldn't find any using search. Anyway is anyone watching the French open? Go Andy Murray!!!

I love football but I do like Tennis as well. Can't wait for Wimbledon this year, going to take a week of work I think to get to as many matches as possible.

Murray is a c*nt and doesn't deserve to win anything.

I hope that Frenchman batters him today, or, better still, Federer shows him up as the ten-bob cart horse he truly is.

:D

It's obvious Lando doesn't like Murray.

But may I know why? is he a Manchester supporter or something?

He trained with Rangers before but im sure he was quoted as saying he supports Hibs. But I think he also said Barca was his team as he used to watch them a lot when he was at the academy for Tennis there.

Anyway hes done great to get into the top 3. But you need that extra edge to get into the top 2. I don't think he has that just yet.

Yeh it's obvious Lando also knows sweet feck all about tennis.

To start with he's playing a Croatian player....his record against Federer is top class....He can't meet the Swiss until the final as he's in the other side of the draw.....so there's only Nadal that stands in the way of Murray winning this GS.

Erm... touché i guess.

Other than Murray being the best Brit since Fred Perry....he does obviously deserve to win a GS.

I dont think Nadal will dominate the game in the same way Sampras or Federer did. His style of play is very aggressive and I dont think that allows for a long career as it puts a lot of strain on the muscles and joints with the way he strikes. But hopefully this year can be Murrays year.

I share the same sentiments on both points Bav....he already has trouble with his knees. Not good at his age....

Why does everyone have it in for Andy Murray? It's hard enough for a Brit to come up in this sport so he has to be confident. Not arrogance at all.
